Alexandre LeBlanc

Alexandre has a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa. He is interested in open and transparent government, active transportation and finding opportunities to align local public policy with best practices. Alexandre is the person to contact when you’ve got questions but you’re not quite sure where to start – give him a call or email and he will help direct you to the right city staff or Team Tobi member. Outside the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you will find Alex out and about, sipping some coffee out of his re-usable Star Wars mug.

Elizabeth Whyte

Elizabeth has a background in Social Work and Canadian Studies and has worked with a wide range of community organizations. Her passion for civic engagement and community development has informed her commitment to collaborating with local organizations to address neighbourhood challenges, find creative ways to connect with residents and support out-of-the-box events. Elizabeth is here to help you navigate the City's operations portfolio including: Community and Social Services, Ottawa Community Housing, Parks and Recreation and event planning. Outside the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you will find Elizabeth at the farmer’s market, enjoying a wide range of community events, or making the most of every season in Gatineau Park. 

Laura Mueller

  • Advisor - Transportation, Traffic Calming & Heritage | Adjointe-conseillère - transports & patrimoine
Laura has a background in journalism and previously reported on civic issues in Ottawa and other municipalities. She’s passionate about improving transportation safety for all road users and enhancing transportation choice by increasing active transportation opportunities and improving connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians. She also oversees heritage files, whether it is an application for altering a heritage property in Rideau-Rockcliffe or a matter related to the Built Heritage Sub-Committee, which Tobi chairs. Laura is also the main point of contact for media inquiries. Outside the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you will find Laura at a concert of a local band, exploring the city by bike or kayak or discussing placemaking at one of the city’s many urbanism events.
