Survey: Improving the Four Corners

Nearly 50 neighbours, business owners, and community stakeholders joined me on Dec. 4 to brainstorm and identify key priorities for the City's $75,000 investment at the intersection at Queen Mary and Lola streets – known in Overbrook as the “Four Corners”. We discussed how the funding for this project could be used to improve safety, beautification and community programming. If you couldn't attend, please take a moment to complete this short survey >>

Reduced speed limit gateway zones

New provincial legislation is enabling the City to designate entire residential neighbourhoods as reduced speed-limit "gateway zones." City Council has supported a policy to implement these 30 km/h or 40 km/h gateway zones on local roadways in every residential neighbourhood across the City. This is an important step towards improving road safety in our neighbourhoods. Find out more >>
